About Gibb Law Firm

I'm Dustin Gibb, and I'm the lead attorney at Gibb Law Firm. I opened the firm in 2018 after six years as a civil litigator in Salt Lake City, and I've lived in Davis County with my family since finishing my clerkship. My clients are mostly people I could run into at a local ball field: parents going through a divorce, people hurt in a crash or a fall, and neighbors and property owners caught in a dispute.

Gibb Law Firm is a Kaysville-based law practice led by attorney Dustin Gibb, licensed in Utah since 2010. The firm handles family law, personal injury, and civil litigation for Utah clients, with offices in Kaysville and Clearfield (by appointment) and virtual consultations available.

How I practice

You should understand your own case.

Legal problems are stressful enough without being kept in the dark. I explain what’s happening, what decisions are coming, and what the risks are, in words that don’t need a law degree.

Realistic expectations, not promises.

I won’t tell you what your case is worth in the first meeting, and I won’t promise an outcome. I will tell you what the law and the evidence suggest, and what could go wrong.

In family cases, the children come first.

I’m a father of seven. When I look at a parenting plan, I ask whether it will actually work on a busy school night, not just whether it looks fair on paper.

In injury cases, health comes first.

The claim can wait a few days while you get treatment. Recovery shouldn’t wait on a claim.

Who you’ll work with

Dustin Gibb, attorney

Handles your case from the first consultation through the end.

Paralegal

Prepares and organizes documents, gathers records, and keeps files moving.

Assistant

Schedules appointments and answers questions between steps.

In some cases, including certain medical malpractice claims, I bring in co-counsel for additional resources. If that happens, you’ll know from the start.

Outside the office

My wife, Jade, and I are raising seven children, including triplet girls. Most evenings you’ll find me at a practice or a game, often coaching. I play golf when I can, and I help with Jade’s dog breeding business, which means the house is rarely quiet.
